Chichester Music Society (CMS), formerly Funtington Music Group was formed over 25 year ago. Society events take place in the Chapel (Cloisters in winter months) of the University of Chichester on the Bishop Otter Campus, not far from the centre of the City of Chichester.
CMS has developed a most enjoyable and mutually rewarding relationship with the University, and is grateful for the support it receives both from the Vice-Chancellor and the Head of Music, Ben Hall. In return, the Society provides an annual programme of sponsored workshops/concerts as well as bursaries for deserving students and the provision of a musical instrument library (click here for further details). The Society will be sponsoring a Piano Masterclass and four special workshop/concert events in 2025 with the University orchestras & professional musicians.
